Development of tungsten-rhenium and tungsten-rhenium alloy

Russia(formerly the Soviet Union)from the 50 's of the last century began to study of tungsten-rhenium and tungsten-rhenium alloy physico-chemical and mechanical properties,various types of tungsten-rhenium alloy wire and thermoelectric properties and stability of the tungsten-rhenium thermocouples.After several years of experimentation and research,W-5Re/W-20Re was enacted in 1968 and W-10Re/W-20Re two thermocouple indexing table.Since 1958,China research of tungsten-rhenium alloy wire and tungsten-rhenium thermocouples,has now developed a national standard for tungsten-rhenium alloy wire and tungsten-rhenium thermocouples.Tungsten-rhenium thermocouple,restoring,and not only in the vacuum inert widely used in anger,and oxidation can substitute for Platinum rhodium thermocouple.
